Electronic Security & Fire Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
➔ Servicing, installing, commissioning, and repairing electronic security equipment.
➔ Working with systems such as IP/HD-CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Fire Detection and Door Entry.
➔ Interacting with customers, providing high-level support & giving recommendations for the customer and their systems.
➔ Working on complex integrated solutions, using the latest technologies for IP connectivity and operation.
➔ Working closely with major manufacturers of market-leading products to deploy ‘industry first’ applications.
➔ Developing your skillset and attending training courses to help increase product knowledge and awareness of all disciplines the role requires. Don’t worry, we’ll organise these for you!
➔ Working outside in all weather conditions and an on-rota out of hours emergency support and telephone assistance.
➔ Working on gaining a good understanding of industry standards & regulations
The boring (but essential) bits
➔ Oracle Vision does not operate within the domestic market.
➔ The Engineering hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday totalling 40 hrs per week however the engineer will be required to undertake reasonable overtime and expected to participate in our on-call scheme.
➔ As you’ll be driving to and from various sites, a full UK driving licence is essential.
➔ Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory DBS and BS-7858 checks.
Field Sales Representative
- Based : Home and Head office in Wakefield.
- Normal Working hours – 8:30 to 5pm.
- SALARY NEGOTIABLE + car allowance + laptop + Mobile phone
We are looking for a vibrant, outgoing individual to come and work in an established sales team. We need the RIGHT person to join a growing company. The correct person needs to be excited about the role, as positivity breeds positivity. Have you got a ‘get up and go’ attitude? Get in touch – we’re looking for the kind of person who doesn’t wait for it to happen – they make it happen!
You will be based on the road, covering the M62 corridor, but will be required to report in to the office.
The role includes the development of both new and existing business by telephone and field sales. You’ll be out and about, visiting clients to maximise revenue potential and continually delivering excellent customer service.
Growth of accounts/new business will be achieved by recommending, designing and selling fully installed IP/HD-CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, door entry systems, fire systems and data services.
The person we’re looking for must have commercial electronic security/fire sales experience, including knowledge on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire systems. Our team needs someone who is personable, with good organisational skills, and it’s important you work well with others. As you might expect, it’s important you have a good understanding of Microsoft office and general computer experience.
