Natalie Carbert joined Oracle Vision this summer to support our Service team to look after our lovely customers. We wanted to introduce her to you all with this quick interview, so you can get to know our latest member of the team.
What does your job at Oracle Vision involve?
My job involves helps the service team – booking service jobs in, taking those calls, filling in the job sheet. I’m getting to see all the jobs come through and making sure they’re all taken care of.
It’s really important that we take care of the clients as well as we can, even as we grow, and I’m glad to help with that as best I can.
What brought you to Oracle Vision?
I wanted a bit of a change. I was working in dog grooming before – quite a difference! I wanted to work in a completely different environment.
I was looking around for something new, and the job description really caught my eye, the way they described the team as one big family.
What do you enjoy about your work here?
I’ve been learning new things every day about the systems and equipment, which is really interesting. They’ve given me training on their processes and I’m learning a lot from speaking to the engineers about what they’re working on. I enjoy the people I’m working with, they’re really nice.
What’s different about Oracle Vision?
I’d say they really care about the staff, and they do treat you like a family. That’s something that gets passed on to the clients too, we’re really looking after them well.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not here?
I like going to the gym to keep fit. I’m planning a walk up Snowdon next year, so I’m getting fit for that. I enjoy reading, cinema, going for a coffee. I walk my friend’s dogs with them too. I don’t want to give up the dogs just yet!
If you could spend the day with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and what would you do?
I would probably say my mum – we’d just go for a picnic somewhere nice. Probably Temple Newsam in Leeds.
